Santos, Debbie

Debbie Santos, President/Founder of D. A. Santos and Associates and Professional Senior Solutions. Taking care of seniors is in her blood. At a young age she loved visiting her grandmother’s Board and Care Facility, in Massachusetts, learning as her grandmother would say  “how to do things right.”  Her mother opened up a Board and Care Facility in California and had the same philosophy of caring for seniors. Debbie’s passion is advocating for the rights of seniors.

Debbie’s education and career has centered on healthcare. A pivotal point in her life and career was when she was asked to create a Financial Counseling program at St. Helena Hospital. She visited researched multiple facilities and was dismayed to find a lack of sound financial counseling regarding healthcare costs and available programs to assist those in need. Debbie instituted a world class Financial Counseling program at St. Helena Hospital. Later she started D. A. Santos and Associates to work with the elderly and disabled in qualifying for Medi-Cal.  Anyone knowing Debbie will tell you that advocating for the rights of our seniors is her passion and hence became front and center in her career.

D. A. Santos and Associates, along with Profession Senior Solutions, is the culmination of years of experience and education in Health Care.  Through these two resources, Debbie is able provide valuable care and advocacy to our growing senior population.

Briggs, Sharlet PhD

Dr. Briggs is the Founder and President of The Wealthy Daughter, LLC and Thriving Brain. With a passion for educating adults, youth and children about the brain, money and investing, Sharlet Briggs draws on a lifetime of experience in healthcare, business, real estate and investing in her mission to support education. She is a sought-after speaker, mentor, and the owner of several businesses as well as an author.

Buckley, Barbara

Barbara Buckley has worked in the business end of health care at St. Helena’s hospital for many years.  As a certified HCS-D medical record coder for Home Care she is acutely aware of the health issues our senior population faces. She is an advocate of protecting patient’s rights and responsible stewardship to Medicare funding.

Barbara is an advocate for independent living and an avid animal lover.
